In general, the function of clothing is to cover the parts of themselves and a disgrace to the beauty of appearance. This provision applies to both men and women.

"O Children of Adam, verily We have sent down to you clothing to cover parts of your disgrace and jewelry ..." (7:26)

In particular, Allahestablished certain rules about women's clothing in the Qur'an. This ordinance of Allahshould be the concern of women believed to be obeyed.

"And say to the believing women to restrain their eyes, and keep their genitals, and not reveal their adornment except what is apparent of it. And let them put the cover (khumur) on his chest, and do not reveal their adornment ..." (24:31)

Khumur
In the quote above verse Allah tells believers that women cover their breasts (breasts). The mention of the chest is then smoothed Allahwith the term "jewelry." The word "khumur" in the above verse means "lid / cover" in english. Cloth used to cover the table is also called "khumur." The word "khumur" This is cognate with the word "alcohol" (wine) to cover the reasonable mind.

The clothing worn daily by women is adequate as long as a cover to hide the chest. If the clothes were tight it needed additional cover such a jacket, cardigan, vest, or blazer.

Exception
No ability to dress as required above is in the presence of:

    "... Except to
    - Their husbands, or
    - Their fathers, or
    - Their husband's fathers, or
    - Their sons, or
    - Sons of their husbands, or
    - Their brothers, or
    - Boys their brother, or
    - Sons of their sisters, or
    - Their women, or
    - Slaves they had, or
    - Male servant who has no sexual desire, or
    - Children who do not understand the nakedness of a woman ... "(24:31)

Jalabi
In addition to ordered her faithful cover their breasts, Allahgave instructions to the Prophet's wife, the daughter of the Prophet and the faithful women handed out clothes to their bodies.

"O Prophet, tell your wives and your daughters and wives of the believers, so that they extend their outer garments (jalabi) on their body. So it is more easily recognized and not molested. Allah is Forgiving Gracious, Most Merciful. " (33:59)

The term "jalabi" which in-Indonesianising a "veil" is the outer garment that covers the body. Yusuf Ali in the Holy Quran was translated "jalabi" as "outer garments."

Allah's command is that outerwear is dihulurkan / extended. In other words, wear a dress, or skirt, or pants that are long enough. Do not wear a short subordinate / mini.

Read the verse that says that the purpose of reaching out this outfit is that women believe more easily recognized and not molested then it is understandable that extend beyond clothing is especially needed when a woman is out of the house.

Hood
Woman hood as prescribed by religious leaders called a "hijab" in Arabic. The word "hijab" appears at least seven times in the Qur'an (7:46, 17:45, 19:17, 33:53, 38:32, 41:5, 42:51) and none of them related with the tradition of the Islamic headscarf.

Allah Does not bother her with the obligation to cover the parts that used to look like arms, hair, cheeks, and neck as taught by the books besides the Quran.

Even if willing to invent a pretext diada that beauty can be seen on women's self-made men are tempted, then the men were supposed to wear head coverings and clothing have been completely closed as shown in the story of Joseph's good looks of a man that can make women tempted.

Bible Teachings
Veil covering her head as worn by Muslim women today are not known in Islamic law, but he is known in the Christian doctrine.

    But every woman who prays or prophesies with his head is not capped, insulting his head, because he is the same as the woman who shaved her hair. (1 Corinthians 11:5)

    Consider yourself: Shall women pray to Allahwith her head hooded not? (1 Corinthians 11:13)

Because what is taught in the bible about women covering the head for not getting "endorsement" of the final book of Allah revealed (the Qur'an), then it should not be followed.

    And We have revealed to you the Book with truth, confirming the previous book, and keep (the truth) it. Then decide between them by what Allah has revealed and follow not their desires by ignoring the truth that has come upon you. (5:48)

Wig, Kutex, Perfume, Cat Hair, and Eyebrows Razor
In relation to the topic of women's clothing, are often questioned about the law to wear a wig, wearing kutex, perfume, hair dyed, and shaved his eyebrows for women.

The above matters had never been forbidden by Allah. Al-Quran is complete and perfect. Even if Allah Does want to ban those things above, there is certainly the ban contained in the Qur'an.
